The Midnight
Movers are an eleven-piece soul band (including our own sound man)
based in the West Midlands - a group of experienced and talented musicians
who just love to perform. We can be booked for all kinds of events

Born
in Dorchester, moved to America, raised on Guernsey, Marcus is half
Sri-Lankan and now lives in Birmingham with his Croatian girlfriend
Tina.
He
started playing trumpet at the age of 11 and is still trying to work
out where the pedals are. In real life he's a professional actor and
as such has performed with the National Theatre and other major companies
throughout the country.
Marcus has played trumpet and tenor sax in various shows inducing touring with the musical "Buddy" and appearing in "Moonlight Serenade" at the Hammersmith Lyric.
He joined "The Midnight Movers" in 2006 having previously played with "The Chains" soul and blues band.
Marcus has never appeared in "Eastenders"!
