Steve Barker - bass
Steve
hails from Worcester and is the latest addition to The Midnight Movers,
and a true veteran!
A self-taught musician since the age of 17 Steve has had a broad range of musical influences ranging from the Soul & Motown classics of the 60’s to the big ‘Prog Rock’ bands of the 70’s such as Yes, Rush, Camel and Genesis.
As
an ex-professional bass player he has performed in bands covering a
wide range of styles of music across the whole of the UK, and has also
toured Europe and the Middle East.
Steve is a well sought after Musician & Session Player and a worthy addition to The Midnight Movers’s talented line-up of musicians. He can also be currently found playing in the well-known Black Country band The Flying Colours.
By the way, Steve is left-handed but don't let that put you off, he's a nice guy really!
